Prodigy was talking about these cold hard streets, but easily this could apply to this merciless virus that discriminates against no one. Young or Old. Rich or Poor. Regulars Joe or Prince Charles.

Through a statement from Clarence House, it has been confirmed that the heir to Great Britain’s throne has contracted the coronavirus. At 71-year-old, this royal is probably one of the most recognizable human beings on the earth. And still, he has been exposed (and probably has exposed others) to the world-wide pandemic, COVID-19.

The statement said he was not feeling well over the weekend and got tested on Monday. His results came through Tuesday night. His wife, Camille aka the Duchess of Cornwall, has tested negative. He to prevent her from being infected he is self-isolating.

But everyone wants to know about The Queen.

While doctors believe, according to the statement he may have contracted the virus on March 13th, they are still making sure Queen Elizabeth II is safe (especially since she is so up in age).

“The Queen last saw the Prince of Wales briefly on 12 March and is following all the appropriate advice with regard to her welfare. We will not be commenting further.”

The statement further notes: “It is not possible to ascertain from whom the Prince caught the virus owing to the high number of engagements he carried out in his public role during recent weeks.”
