Need a reason to rewatch The Wire? How about a new podcast from The Ringer? The podcast network is set to premiere The Wire: Way Down in the Hole, which will be hosted by Van Lathan and Jemele Hill.
The Wire: Way Down in the Hole will break down every episode of the HBO classic series, The Hollywood Reporter details. The timing of the show is perfect with the coronavirus allowing for fans to revisit the series due to “Stay at Home” orders. HBO reports the show has tripled in viewership since March 14.
The podcast is one of two shows for Lathan, a former member of the TMZ team. Hill already has Jemele Hill Is Unbothered on Spotify. The show will debut in April and will be 65 episodes in total.
