His plan is straight out of a Hollywood movie but he is not acting at all. White wants to host the fights on a private island, fly the fighters on a private jet, and keep UFC 249 and sports alive.

He told this to TMZ but would not reveal the location(s) he is considering.

However, he confirmed that he has secured the venue for 2 months. He plans on being very active, hosting fights every week. This will involve moving and constructing the Octagon on the island and setting up shop.

However, White says the deal isn’t completely done yet, but he is very close.

White also revealed the remainder of the fight card for UFC 249. Former UFC strawweight champ Rose Namajunas vs. Jessica Andrade and Francis Ngannou vs. Jairzinho Rozenstruik.

Also, former NFL player Greg Hardy, Ray Borg, Jeremy Stephens and more. The main event between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Tony Ferguson is most likely scrapped due to Khabib not wanting to travel during COVID-19.

No word yet on who will be Tony Ferguson’s opponent if this happens.
