The youngest of the Kardashian-Jenner bunch, Kylie Jenner has earned her spot in year number two as Forbes youngest self-made billionaire. Jenner, who is only 22 is worth $1 billion dollars.
She beat out Facebook CEO, Mark Zuckerberg who previously had the spot at the age of 23. Jenner sold 51% of Kylie Cosmetics in November of 2020. This deal scored up the estimation of her business up to USD 1.2 billion, which is also the business woman’s net worth.
“I didn’t expect anything. I did not foresee the future,” Jenner told Forbes. “But, (the recognition) feels really good. That’s a nice pat on the back.”
Last year, Forbes received a lot of heat after crowning the 22-year-old because fans felt that Jenner already comes from one of the wealthiest families in the world. Forbes shut down the questioning by saying that Jenner built her businesses, it was not inherited to her. Not only is Jenner the wealthiest by Forbes, but she is also the wealthiest out of her family members.
Jenner began Kylie Cosmetics in 2014. Soon after, she would be selling out her Kylie lip kits and shade palettes in minutes. Literally…the baby of the Kardashian-Jenner gang sold out 15,000 lip kits within the first minute of her launching her online site. Congratulations to Kylie Jenner!
