The United States is still deep in the battle against COVID-19, however, one sports league is looking to get the action going soon, of course, without fans.

ESPN’s Jeff Passan reports Major League Baseball is currently targeting a start to the 2020 season in Mid-May. In order to do so, the league and the Major League Baseball Players Association will have to agree to terms of a deal to make sure play could start.

The report states the plan will be backed by federal health officials and would bring players to training camps in May with games to return shortly after. All the games would take place in the state of Arizona, a common location for Spring Training. The start of the games could also see the use of an electronic strike zone.
