The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have a new quarterback, so it’s only right to get new uniforms to match.
The Buccaneers officially unveiled their new uniforms on Tuesday afternoon and unlike the LA Rams, these new uniforms aren’t bad. The look seems like an homage to the 1997-2013 era of Buccaneers’ football.
Buccaneers owner and co-chairman Ed Glazer told USA Today that the fans helped inspire this new look.
“This new but familiar look is a direct result of the valuable feedback we received from our fans,” Glazer said in a statement. “We are excited to return to our classic Super Bowl era uniforms while also introducing a sleek Color Rush uniform that showcases our signature pewter in a new and dramatic way. The refreshed classic design of our home and away combinations bridges our past with our exciting new future, and we are confident it will resonate with our fans.”
While these uniforms look fresh and so clean, it’s going to look weird watching Tom Brady play in them instead of a New England Patriots uniform.
