Getting through this Coronavirus pandemic has been difficult for many people, especially for the elderly. However, Film Director Perry has stepped again to use his resources to help ease the burden of a few elderly people.
According to People, Perry paid for the groceries of all elderly shoppers at 44 Kroger stores in Atlanta, and 29 Winn Dixie stores in New Orleans.
In March several stores including Target and Dollar General announced that they would dedicate special times of day when elderly people can shop in peace.
In a statement to People, a source said, “He wanted to do something special to provide immediate relief for some of the most vulnerable in the two cities he considers home,”
As we previously reported, Perry generously donated $21,000 to Houston’s restaurant in Atlanta. The tip will be split between 42 employees.
