We were first promised more music from Usher, Lil Jon, and Ludacris when they dropped the 2004 single “Lovers & Friends.” It was the second time the trio collaborated, following “Yeah” from Usher’s Confessions album.

So during last week’s battle of the hits between T-Pain and Lil Jon, when a new hit emerged from the trio, courtesy of Jon, many were eager to hear it. Distorted in quality due to being played over Instagram Live, the new song “SexBeat” sounded like a hit. Now we can know for certain.

“SexBeat” is now available 16 years after the proclamation “Usher, Jon and Luda had to do it again.” The trio comes together for a three-peat.

The single is a welcomed release as we don’t frequently hear from Luda these days as Hollywood has taken over. For Usher this is the second release we have heard from his forthcoming album, following “Don’t Waste My Time,” which features Ella Mai and received a video.

If you need some more Usher in your life, be sure to check out the “Climax” challenge after a brush-up with The Weeknd hit online.

“SexBeat” can be streamed below.
