Now, after the stay at home restrictions have been lifted in China for its residents due to COVID-19, Black people from Africa and other parts of the world are being discriminated against after allegations have arisen that Black people are now the cause of the spread of the virus.

A McDonald’s in Guangzhou has been closed to Black people in the industrial city due to the erroneous claims.


 McDonald’s issued a statement, which reads, “Immediately upon learning of an unauthorized communication to our guests at a restaurant in Guangzhou, we immediately removed the communication and temporarily closed the restaurant.”
