This will not be the first time Nas and Hit-Boy have worked together, with the pair having previously released the track “Royalty” featuring fellow Californian and R&B artist RaVaughn of Columbia Records. Hit-Boy first played some of the pairs forthcoming new music for the first time on his Instagram Live battle versus Grammy-award winning OVO producer Boi-1da a month ago in late March – listen and watch below for a snippet of what is to come.

The most recent release from Nas was his short but sweet eleventh solo studio album Nasir running just 7-tracks long produced by Kanye West and released on his co-founded Mass Appeal Records and Def Jam Recordings, which dropped in June 2018. Nas also released the 16-track compilation album The Lost Tapes 2 last June with songs recorded from 2006-2018 featuring the likes of Swizz Beatz, Pharrell Williams, RZA, Hit-Boy, Pete Rock, The Alchemist, and Statik Selektah. This new music coming with Hit-Boy promises to be the follow up to his most recent crossover re-worked hit “Rodeo” with Lil Nas X in February earlier this year.
