The one and only King of Queens’ Nas has announced that he is currently working on new music with Californian super producer Hit-Boy in a recent interview with legendary Brooklyn DJ/VJ Ralph McDaniels during Universal Hip Hop Museum and Mass Appeal’s Hip-Hop Loves NY benefit event. Nas also reveals he is also working on another secret project, with further details well and truly still under wraps for now but recent interviews alluding to it possibly including work with Swizz Beatz and/or RZA of the Wu-Tang Clan amongst others.

This will not be the first time Nas and Hit-Boy have worked together, with the pair having previously released the track “Royalty” featuring fellow Californian and R&B artist RaVaughn of Columbia Records. Hit-Boy first played some of the pairs forthcoming new music for the first time on his Instagram Live battle versus Grammy-award winning OVO producer Boi-1da a month ago in late March – listen and watch below for a snippet of what is to come.

The most recent release from Nas was his short but sweet eleventh solo studio album Nasir running just 7-tracks long produced by Kanye West and released on his co-founded Mass Appeal Records and Def Jam Recordings, which dropped in June 2018. Nas also released the 16-track compilation album The Lost Tapes 2 last June with songs recorded from 2006-2018 featuring the likes of Swizz Beatz, Pharrell Williams, RZA, Hit-Boy, Pete Rock, The Alchemist, and Statik Selektah. This new music coming with Hit-Boy promises to be the follow up to his most recent crossover re-worked hit “Rodeo” with Lil Nas X in February earlier this year.

The 2x Grammy-award winning and multi-platinum selling artist Hit-Boy himself have released four projects since signing with Kanye West’s GOOD Music in 2011, prolifically also producing classics for Jay-Z, Nipsey Hussle, Drake, Kanye West, Lil Wayne, Beyoncé, Travis Scott, Eminem, 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg, Chris Brown, Kendrick Lamar and ASAP Rocky since co-producing his first major breakthrough track “Forever” for Jennifer Lopez in mid-2007 as a then young 20-year old. Stay tuned for further updates of new music from the pair as details emerge – Nas music underway.
