Carteret, New Jersey’s own, Marcony St. Juste has been in a consistent zone since inking his distibution deal with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation.

Known as CONY,the rising R&B star began writing music to cope with life pain after his grandmother died. A graduate of Carteret High School, CONY began writing poetry and turned his poems into song lyrics and found a passion for music and entertainment

In 2018 CONY released his first album under Roc Nation’s Equity Distribution which trended on APPLE MUSIC the first week of its released.
CONY has been active in his community. A product of the Pathways mentorship program via Carteret High School, CONY along with multiple students annually buy into Pathways mission which provides focus on substance abuse prevention, bullying prevention, safe driving, suicide prevention, healthy relationship development and future planning.  

A graduate of the program, recently CONY had the opportunity to speak to current students of the program and share his expreriences.

He’s even had the opportunity to perform his music in front of Carteret, New Jersey’s Mayor Dan Reiman.
