Looks like Patrick Ewing is doing better.
Patrick Ewing Jr. said Monday on Twitter that his father is out of the hospital after testing positive for COVID-19, and has begun to improve.
“I want to thank all of the doctors and hospital staff for taking care of my father during his stay, as well as everyone who has reached out with thoughts and prayers to us and since his diagnosis,” Ewing Jr. tweeted Monday.
Ewing just disclosed three days earlier that he had been hospitalized with COVID-19.Ewing posted on social media that he shared his diagnosis because, “This virus is serious and should not be taken lightly.”
Ewing has served as Georgetown’s head coach since 2017 after working as an assistant coach in the NBA for 15 years. Hopefully, the hall of fame basketball legend can continue to get better at home and soon be COVID-19 free.
