President Trump hates Twitter but is continuing to use it to release statements. This time, Trump shared a letter online that referenced the peaceful protestors near the White House as “terrorists.”

CNN details the letter is written by former Trump lawyer John Dowd and is written to former Secretary of Defense James Mattis. On Wednesday, Mattis qualified everything going on in America is the result of leadership that lacked maturity.

“The phony protesters near Lafayette were not peaceful and are not real,” the letter reads. “They are terrorists using idle hate filled students to burn and destroy. They were abusing and disrespecting the police when the police were preparing the area for the 1900 curfew.”

Earlier this week, protestors outside the White House were forcibly moved from the area by use of tear gas and flashbangs to clear the way for Trump to take a picture holding a Bible by a nearby church only to stroll back to the White House.
