Tsu Surf’s music career really started to break out in a major way in 2016 with his 10-track “2:00 AM” release that featured AR-AB, Sy Ari Da Kid and Chad B. Surf was awarded the coveted spot as Unsigned Hype in The Source last year, joining the likes of The Notorious B.I.G, DMX, Eminem, Canibus, Immortal Technique, Common, Mobb Deep (appearing as Poetical Prophets), Joell Ortiz, Proof, Flatbush Zombies, Action Bronson, and Rum Nitty. Tsu Surf last September also released the Amazon chart-topping Urban Fiction book “House in Virginia” in conjunction with national bestselling author Jessica N. Watkins, based on his hit song of the same name.

Tsu Surf has been consistently releasing music since 2012 and has additionally collaborated with the likes of Joe Budden, Chris Brown, Jadakiss, Boosie Badazz, Styles P, NBA star Kevin Durant of the Brooklyn Nets, the late Fred The Godson (RIP), Wale, Albee Al, Ab-Soul, Arsonal and Don Q amongst many others. Tsunami Surf has successfully managed to have both a successful music career as well as an ongoing battle rap lifespan, breaking the outdated stereotype that battle rappers cannot make good music. Inside the ring, Surf has shown and proved over the last decade against some of the cultures best including against Conceited, Tay Roc, Hollow Da Don, Charlie Clips, Geechi Gotti, Rum Nitty, Calicoe, Shotgun Suge, Big T, T-Top as well as having two of the top 3 highest viewed battle ever on SMACK / URLTV vs. Hitman Holla and in a 2 on 2 vs. K-Shine and DNA of NWX w/ GunTitles partner Tay Roc.

Also set to battle Harlem legend Loaded Lux on SMACK/URLTV on Saturday July 11 via the Drake-endorsed streaming platform Caffeine for the upcoming NOME X event, the next month promises to be another big one for him. Tsu Surf’s new mixtape “MSYKM” is out now everywhere.
