Young Buck and 50 Cent’s feud has been ongoing for years and if you’ve been keeping up with Fifty then you know he’s with all the smoke.
Buck appeared on Adam 22’s No Jumper podcast and said the mogul didn’t want the other G-Unit members to have successful solo careers. “I’m very secure of who I am,” he said at the 16:30-mark of the interview, before dismissing the homosexual allegations 50 made. “My separation from G-Unit, it was never about no rumors or none of the bullshit he’s pushed out there to the people. It’s been about business.”
Buck admitted that his former group member encouraged him to venture off, but he’d give opportunities to non-G-Unit members. “It seems like… [he] wouldn’t allow someone to become as big as him or bigger than him,” he added.
Elsewhere he addressed DMX’s diss towards him. “I fuck with X,” he said with a grin on his face. “I got so much respect for X, and so much respect for Banks,” he said while also calling Tony Yayo his brother. He even acknowledged that a Verzuz battle between X and Lloyd Banks is “unfair.” “I feel like Banks is one of the best lyricists in the game, but X is a fucking legend.”
