James Juanillo, a San Francisco man, posted a video to Twitter Friday showing an encounter with a man and woman on a local San Fran residential street.

Juanillo, who identifies as a “brown man” told reporters that a white couple called the police after they saw him drawing  “Black Lives Matter” onto a wall outside of his home.

As the video begins you can see the woman a few feet from Juanillo and hear her asking if he was “defacing private property” as he finished writing the phrase on a retaining wall outside of his home.

In an interview with local reporters, Juanillo said he clearly stenciled in chalk, which will wash away in the rain. “That leaves only the message to be problematic,” he said.

“If I did live here, and this was my property, this would be absolutely fine? And you don’t know if I live here, if this is my property?” Juanillo asked in the video.

The woman and the man she was with claimed that they knew Juanillo didn’t own the property because they “know the person who does live here.” At this point, an annoyed Juanillo encouraged them to call the police if they felt was what taking place was illegal. Which in traditional “Karen” fashion, she did.

“The police came and recognized me immediately as a resident of the house and left without getting out of their patrol car. I didn’t even show them my ID,” Juanillo said in a statement to Storyful.

In a strange twist of “White Privilege Gone Wrong”, Brad Gilbertson, who is actually one of the owners of the property, said he doesn’t know the couple in the video at all.

“She just claimed she knew the owner of the house. She doesn’t know me. I thought she was out of line,” he said.

As summer kicks off, the “Karens” are on full display with the foolishness. Hopefully it calms down and eventually ends as instances like this become illegal across the country.
