The Black Lives Matter protests that have flooded the States since late May have expanded and Megan Thee Stallion is one of many celebs getting behind it. The Houston Hot Girl took part in a BLM x Pride protest in West Hollywood on Sunday to stand up for the rights of Black LGBTQ people.
Last week, Thee Stallion made an appreciation post for a Black transgender woman named Iyanna Dior who was jumped in what appeared to be a hate crime. Meg asked her followers to donate cash to the assault victim adding the hashtag #blacktranslivesmatter
A week and a half later, wearing a rainbow-colored wig Meg marched the streets of Hollywood to put action to her new cause.
Black Lives Matter has gained the attention of the entire country, and now activists have taken the opportunity to extend that courtesy to every member of the Black community mainly the LGBTQ members who often aren’t recognized during protests.
Common and Tiffany Haddish also attended the BLM x Pride protest on Sunday. In a tweet, Common posted a more inclusive message in solidarity with the LGBTQ community.
