Many Pop Smoke supporters and fans are anticipating the late rapper’s posthumous album. The album was set to release June 12th, but Steven Victor, Universal Music Group executive shared on social media that the album release would be delayed.

 “Music is the tool of revolution. We have been watching, along with the rest of the world, as long overdue change starts to take root. We have seen Pop’s music become the soundtrack of the moment, unifying the masses,” he penned.

The new release date for the album is set for July 3rd. “Given recent events, we have decided to delay the release of his album out of respect for the movement. ‘Make It Rain’ will be released this Friday, June 12th. The album will be released on July 3rd,” the caption continued.

In the wake of fans hearing the Woo rapper’s single, “Make It Rain,” 50 Cent announced that fans can expect a single featuring himself and Roddy Rich to release very soon. “New Pop Smoke Ft @50cent & @roddyricch soon!” 50 wrote.
