If we are going by the favorites, the 2020 World Series will be the New York Yankees and Los Angeles Dodgers. ESPN reports the abbreviated season to have the two legendary baseball franchises at the top, with Houston Astros, Atlanta Braves and Minnesota Twins to follow.
Baseball is set to start on July 23 or July 24 and run through late September. MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred stated the 60 game schedule will be composed of four divisional opponents 10 times and five interleague opponents in the same geogrpahical area for four games apiece.
The playoff format will remain the same to previous seasons with a total of 10 teams making the cut.
The Yankees schedule is currently available, which features 10 games against archrival Boston Red Sox and battles with the Miami Marlins, Washington Nationals, New York Mets, and more.
