Snoop Dogg has been a trending topic since Saturday. The “Gin & Juice” rapper is facing backlash after uploading a video of a studio session with Kanye West and Dr. Dre.
If you follow the Hip Hop OG then you know how he has been vocal in publicizing his opinions about other artists. In a Shade 45 interview in 2018, Snoop gave his opinion on Kanye supporting Trump. “If you like that na, you motherg racist. Fk you and fk him. Kanye too. Don’t forget about him too. Fk you too,” Snoop stated.
In another interview, with 97.9’s The Box, he stated that he “never hated” Kanye, that he just felt that he was “brainwashed” and “used.”
The clip shows Snoop narrating what’s going on in the music session with Ye and Dre, who are both presumably working on the once-shelved Jesus is King II. But fans were quick to call out Snoop’s contradicting feelings for Mr. West.
“F**k snoop dogg. He’s the biggest hypocrite,” wrote a fan. “He was talking all bad about Kanye when he wearing MAGA hats now he’s in the Stu with him? Lame as hell.”
Another fan wrote “Uncle Snoop izza Hypocrite. He’s going against his words now. I thought he hated Ye.”
“That n*a Snoop Dogg shouldn’t be anywhere near Kanye West right now,” another wrote. “ All that st he’s talked about him & wife? Mannnn Kanye is a better person than me cause I would’ve had to pull up on bruh. Say one more word about my wife & it’s gon’ be a misunderstanding ‘around here.”
