Born in San Jose, Henny Holyfield moved to Sacramento twenty years ago. In 2008, Holyfield started to take his musical career much more seriously and wanted to invigorate Sacramento’s music scene, specifically the hip-hop scene. This mission is put on display with “Clocked In” as it features many Sacramento rappers (Alize Ali, Dirk Dig, E.M.A) as well as Sacramento-based producers (Legion of Doom Ent.). With his solo album released, Holyfield is turning to more collaborators in Sacramento and is working on feature spots and more joint albums, including one with a long-time collaborator, Alize Ali.
