According to several confirmed reports, Tory Lanez is the lone suspect in the shooting that left rap queen Megan Thee Stallion with bullet wounds on Sunday morning in Hollywood Hills.
Now, an exclusive report from PageSix has quoted a source close to the situation as saying, “Tory fired the shots from within the vehicle while Megan was outside trying to leave,” adding, “There is [a] video and the police are investigating. This is a case of a man physically harming and abusing a woman.”
The LAPD did not deny nor confirm whether or not there was a video submitted for the investigation, however, a spokesperson for the department did confirm that “the detectives are seeking information regarding the shooting involving Daystar Peterson (Tory Lanez’ real name), and the investigation is still ongoing.”
On Saturday night, the “Savage” rapper just posted her, Kylie Jenner, and Peterson poolside only hours before the LAPD responded to shots fired in Hollywood Hills at approximately 4:30 am. Peterson was arrested a short time later in the SUV, allowing the police to get Megan Thee Stallion, whose real name is Megan Pete, to a nearby hospital to have the bullets removed.
Earlier this week, Pete confirmed she was shot in a social media post, stating, “I’m incredibly grateful to be alive and that I’m expected to make a full recovery..”
As shown in a video released originally by TMZ, Pete was seen exiting the SUV with what appeared to a blood trail by her feet. A spokesperson for LAPD confirmed, “One person was transported to the hospital for a foot injury.”
Pete has yet to name Peterson as the person who shot her.
