It was previously reported that Tamar Braxton attempted to take her life, but thankfully she is conscious.
A spokesperson for the singer told The Blast that she’s receiving additional treatment and is being transferred to a mental health facility for “further evaluation.”
“Tamar has been transferred to another facility for further evaluation and treatment. Out of respect for Tamar’s privacy and that of her family, no additional information is available at this time,” the spokesperson told The Blast.
“The outpouring of support that Tamar has received is a testament to the light that she brings to people,” the source added.
Tamar Braxton was found by her boyfriend, David Adefeso, in her room in the Ritz Carlton in Los Angeles on July 16th. She reportedly was drinking alcohol and took multiple pills.
Those close to her aren’t surprised by her suicide attempt because she expressed being depressed because of her ongoing disagreements with the WeTV network.
