Doja Cat has kept a relatively low profile since being exposed for allegedly exhibiting anti-Black behaviors and interacting with racist white supremacists in group chats. But the pop star gave a recent update on her health.
In an interview with Capital XTRA with Yinka and Shayna Marie, Doja said she contracted the virus but she didn’t know how it happened exactly. “I got COVID. Honestly, I don’t know how this happens but I guess I ordered something off Postmates and… I don’t know how I got it but I got it,” she was explaining. After learning she had the virus she stated “I’m OK now. It was a four-day symptom freak out but I’m fine now.”
In March, the “Say So” artist posted a video on social media addressing the coronavirus. “B***h, I’m not scared of a coronavirus,” she said at the time. “It’s a flu.”
She continued saying “I’m gonna get corona and then I’m gonna get a Corona, cause I don’t give a fk about corona, b*h. It’s a flu! I’m not scared… You just take some Mucinex and drink water and tea and sleep – that’s all you gotta do… Y’all are so scared of corona that I need a Corona.”
Glad to see Doja Cat’s in good health, but this a serious health issue.
