Eon Zero grew up in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Both parents are musicians which explain why Eon’s roots are in music, deep. In 4th grade, Eon played the recorder and shortly afterward moved to the trumpet. Throughout school, he played in summer jazz bands, had taken drum lessons, and taught himself guitar. In 8th grade, Eon began his career in multimedia. He begged his parents for a cheap camcorder to record skate videos. In 2007, he uploaded Windows Movie Maker and from then on, he was addicted. Throughout high school and college, he has continued to study multimedia with a focus on filmmaking and editing. Eon continued to create music but it wasn’t until Hip Hop entered his radar where he found his true love. The raw sound, the honesty, and the introspective stories/songs arrested his attention. It was then that he realized that he too wanted to share his truth and pursue music that would create the same emotional impact that he felt. Ian hopes to continue to inspire his audience as he was once inspired as a young man…so far, he is proud and humbled to have a growing number of over 5,000,000 plays online. Most of his work is emotional, powerful, or passionate. His ability to perform in front of a mic and move masses has always been a strong suit. He has suffered from mental health issues almost his entire life and his platform stands as a way to normalize mental health issues and “Make sure people never feel alone.” Eon is most notably recognized for his ability to sing, rap, produce and engineer his own musical works. He runs a studio in Michigan and the funding of the studio he built, funnels into his ever-growing music career. He is undeniably one of the best engineers in the state of Michigan, and undeniably one of the biggest up and coming artists from the city of Ann Arbor. His dedication and drive is unparalleled and will lead him to an exciting life.
