A classic compilation for the Wopsters.
Last week’s Verzuz proved to be the finale of a longstanding beef between Gucci Mane and Jeezy. The two ATLiens took the stage to give a classic battle of their hit songs including a lot of fan favorites. Now that the dust has settled, the culture moves forward. During the Verzuz, Gucci announced the release of a greatest hits album entitled, Trap God Classics: I Am My Only Competition.
We have undoubtedly witness a lot of growth from the East Atlanta Santa following his prison stint. The drastic change in lifestyle reflects in his music as well, but those classic songs live forever. The Trap God Classic album is a perfect blend of what fans might consider old Gucci Mane and new Gucci. It features notable throwbacks such as “First Day Out,” “I Think I Love Her,” “Wasted,” “Freaky Girl” “Lemondade “and the Jeezy assisted, “So Icy.”
As far as his recent hits, the project includes “Both,” with Drake, “Get The Bag,” with Migos, “Met Gala” with Offset and more. Guwop has always played the role as a mentor to a number of ATL’s biggest stars. His Verzuz showed the maturity to a number of his ATL mentees.
Trap God Classics takes fans on a riveting ride of Gucci Mane’s musical journey.
