From New Bern, North Carolina, artist Vivan Lal has always had a strong connection to music. Over time, the power of music has allowed him to discover different versions of himself and he hopes that his music will allow others to do the same. Coming from a musical family, he always knew that this was going to be his path. His mom was also a singer, which inspired Vivan to take his emotions and life experience and incorporate it into his art.
When experiencing hardship, Vivan tends to sink into a dark place and music has always been the one thing to pull him out. Singing about it sometimes feels easier than talking about it, which is why over time, his music has organically thrived. One of Vivan’s biggest influences, Chris Brown, shares a similar upbringing to his, which is why he always found the legend to be relatable and musically inspiring. Aiming high, Vivan strives for success by continuing to stay curious and learn about the world. At the end of the day, having people love and respect him for who he is is the most important thing. Staying true to himself is number one and he hopes to inspire other people and musicians alike to feel the same way.
His single “No Better Love” and the “No Better Love” EP are on their way to gaining tremendous traction while he prepares for other impressive new projects.
