22 year old Camden, New Jersey born artist Kilo Paris grew up frequently experiencing the best of both worlds between the “hood and the burbs.” He learned how to relate and be accepted by both audiences and that’s what he applies to his music as he’s writing. Being adopted by his grandfather and raised in Flint, Michigan. He started playing the piano at the age of 3 and writing raps at the age of 8. Making it be known at a very young age that music is something that would hold his attention for the rest of his life.
Fast forward to today, Kilo Paris has released a series of bangers along with music videos which have garnered over 700,000 views on his personal channel alone, most recently he released “Facetime” produced by Block Symfany and directed by Jon Phou, the video features scenes of what looks like Facetime footage on the beach and more.
Kilo constantly expresses his passion for independence as an artist, saying things like “The outlets that have opened up within the last five years have given better opportunities for artist like me to build their brand on their own instead of knowing you have talent and having to sign 75% of your life away to a label because that’s the only way you feel you can be heard by a major platform.” He started his own company at only 18 years old called Golden One Inc.
