Nike has officially announced the new Nike GO FlyEase, a hands-free shoe primed for easy on, easy off wear. The new shoe has a smooth wear motion designed with a bi-stable hinge that enables the shoe to be secure in fully open and fully closed states.
The new sneaker also features the Nike GO FlyEase tensioner, which allows for flexibility in super-charged actions that are common to a user and makes the movement the basis for accessibility and empowering design.
The Nike GO FlyEase is designed to serve a range of active lifestyles ranging from a student that is always on a move or a parent that has their hands full.
“Usually I spend so much time to get in my shoes,” says Vio. “With the Nike GO FlyEase, I just need to put my feet in and jump on it. The shoes are a new kind of technology, not only for adaptive athletes but for everyone’s real life.”
The Nike GO FlyEase is available via invite for select Nike Members February 15, with broader consumer availability planned for later this year.
