Ja Rule has been many things throughout his career. From a bonafide hitmaker, to entrepreneur, to Dave Chappelle meme, and even a Greek restaurant spokesperson, people are unsure of how Ja would be able to reinvent himself again. Well, now he can add Harvard Business School graduate to the list now.
Ja took to Twitter to show off his certificate of completion from the Ivy League university. âJeffrey Atkins has successfully completed the Harvard Business School Online Certificate Program [for] Entrepreneurship Essentials,” the certificate read.
“I ainât the sharpest knife in the drawer buuuuut…” Ja tweeted.
This seems to be the next logical step for Ja Rule. After the Fyre Festival debacle, Ja has continued to express his wishes for wanting to be an entrepreneur in the tech industry. In an interview with HipHop DX last year, Ja spoke on his fascination with the tech industry while speaking on his ICONN app that allows people to easily book their favorite artists and entertainers.
âI love tech space, man,â he said. âIt gives you that creative feeling again, like whether you first get in the lab and start making records and shit, and youâre like, âWill this work? Will people like this how me and my n-ggas like this?â Itâs like we got a secret. We about to let this secret loose to the world.
âThatâs how I feel like with tech. Iâm not recreating the wheel, man. Iâm creating it for the culture. Thatâs the fucking difference. Itâs other live platforms. Itâs other platforms that let you monetize your content, but it ainât ICONN, trust what the fuck Iâm telling you.â
