Neither Glover nor Amazon have shared any details about the deal, but sources say that one such project is already in the works. The Janine Nabers created show, Hive, is rumored to revolve around a Beyoncé-like figure. The project has already begun staffing a writers room, with one of those writers being Malia Obama.

News of his deal comes after Glover announced on his Instagram that he and Fleabag’s Phoebe Waller-Bridge are rebooting the 2005 action-comedy, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, as a TV show for Amazon Prime. They are set to star in the upcoming series as well as serve as executive producers. The series is set to release in 2022.
