Love & Hip-Hop socialite Moniece Slaughter recently went public about an alleged relationship between her LHH co-star, Apryl Jones and legendary producer, Dr. Dre. Slaughter’s comments came after Dre and Jones were spotted headed to dinner last week. Following Moniece’s statements, she claims to have received threatening calls from alleged members of Dr. Dre’s camp. In a number of videos, Slaughter expounds on the reported threats in addition to releasing a statement on her Instagram story.
“You know what I did not want to believe that (Dr.) Dre was a women beater,” she began. “But after the couple of phone calls I literally just had, he’s a women beater. For sure. For f**king sure.”
“Don’t you send another motherf**ker to this phone of mine, to make one more f**king threat,” Slaughter says angrily and flustered with tears. “And I recorded it.”
She doubles down on her claims in her IG story, where she adds she decided to speak up for herself. She would rather not allow the alleged messages to bully her into doing otherwise. Instead, Slaughter decided to stand firm on her position of speaking up despite being told by family and friends to not do so.
“Upon waking up today I was told that my life, along with my son’s life, and my family’s lives were in danger. That I was dealing with a very powerful man, and that I needed to be quiet, to disappear from social media, and even think about taking a vacation to ‘clear my mind’,” she says.
There has been no word from either Dr. Dre nor Apryl Jones regarding Moniece Slaughter’s claims.
