Blake Griffin is the latest all-star to join the Brooklyn Nets after reaching a massive buy-out from the Detroit Pistons. During an All-Star Weekend, the former newest Nets spoke about the signing, believing winning was the reason for selecting the team.
“I’m sure he wants to win,” Harden said. “If he passed up on money, to obviously stay in Detroit, he wants to win and he wants to have an opportunity to play meaningful minutes and I’m assuming one of the reasons why he came.”
Griffin is expected to have an important bench role for the Nets and will join the team during the kick-off of the second half of the season, which will also see the return of Kevin Durant to the line-up.
