Tiffany Haddish Receives Backlash After Dissing Nicki Minaj on Clubhouse

The Barbz don’t play with Nicki Minaj and it looks like Tiffany Haddish will be their next target.

Tiffany Haddish is fresh off the heels of winning her first Grammy for Best Comedy Album for Black Mitzvah, and her emotional reaction was documented on Kids Say The Darndest Things.

The comedian was on Clubhouse Sunday night and an audio clip of the conversation surfaced online after an unnamed man described Haddish as the “Nicki Minaj of Comedy.”

A man says “Unlike Nicki, she shows up on time,” to which Tiffany Haddish quipped, “Unlike Nicki, I treat people with respect and dignity”

It’s unclear Tiffany Haddish and Nicki Minaj have beef, but there was tension between the two entertainers at the 2018 VMAs.

Nicki came to Normani‘s defense and told the actress who was presenting the Best Hip-Hop Video, “Tiff, don’t be coming for Fifth Harmony because Normani is that b*tch,” while accepting the award.

Tiffany Haddish worked Fifth Harmony in a joke when highlighting that Camila Cabello received five nominations.

“She’s nominated for five VMAs tonight — five of them. I’m super proud of her,” Tiffany said about Camila first, before adding: “So those of you watching at home: Hiiiii, Fifth Harmony!”

Nicki Minaj has a six-part documentary on the way on HBO Max, and she owes her fans a fifth studio album. The Queens rapper never lets shade go unrecognized, so a response is expected.
