Dr. Dre and Nicole Young’s divorce has been messy. While Dr. Dre aims to finalize the divorce, it seems as if Nicole keeps prolonging it. It began with disputes over the prenuptial agreement, then $2 million a month in child support, then with Nicole alledging Dre had been physically and emotionally abusive and cheated on her. Now Dre is hoping that the judge will let him legally operate as a single man.
According to TMZ, Dre’s attorney filed documents asking the court to declare himself and Nicole to be single while they finalize their divorce. The documents assert that the divorce has gotten out of control after Nicole alleged that Dre had been physically abusive during their marriage. The documents state that Dre has been trying to finalize the divorce for eight months, but Nicole has prolonged the process on purpose.
It seems as if Dre is trying to get on with his life, and possibly get with Love & Hip Hop Hollywood star, Apryl Jones. The two were recently seen together and Moniece Slaughter confirmed their relationship, stating that the two have been seeing each other for some time.
