Kanye West is reportedly unhappy about how stories about his divorce from Kim Kardashian are being spun in Kim’s favor. Even though details about the divorce are being withheld, many news outlets have claimed that it has been Kim’s idea to divorce Ye. However, a source close to Kanye stated that he is “annoyed” with people who think the divorce was Kim’s idea.
“[Kanye West is] super annoyed that the story is being constantly presented as her divorcing him,” the source said. The source went on to say that the Kardashian family is a “huge spin machine.”
“Actually it was him saying for a year that they have nothing in common except the kids and he wanted out,” added the source. “She pulled all the stops to try to save the marriage.” The source also says that Ye allowed Kim to file for divorce in order to “give her dignity.”
It was just earlier this year that we got word that the two were deciding to call it quits. The narrative has been largely controlled by Kim, and Kanye has stayed very quiet about the situation. Early on, there were rumors that Kanye had changed his number and Kim could only contact Kanye through his bodyguard. Just last week, Kanye officially responded to the divorce, only asking for joint custody of their children, North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm. The two reportedly will not have to pay for each other’s legal fees either.
