DAIbrieell D’onte Mackie is about to become a household name. Her most recent release, “LOVE AWAY”, was launched on June 8th, 2021, and the fans can’t get enough! This song is a perfect example of how there is indeed a growing demand for female rappers in a male dominated space.
Born on April 6th, 1994 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and then raised in Memphis, Tennessee, DAIbrieell started her musical recognition doing short remixes to known artist’s works on her Instagram with XXXTentacion’s “Look At Me”, as a tribute to his death getting the most recognition from viewers; including Jimmy Duval (producer of the record). On March 22nd of 2019, DAIbrieell shot her first visual for her single “Mission Accomplished” with Fredrick Ali better known as YooAli Productions. Seeing the success of the single from there, upon June 29th, 2019, DAIbrieell released her first debut album “BADTOWN”. It was produced with Ayelook. On that same day she worked alongside Andrew Lambert also known as DrewfilmedIt to conduct a visual for “Badtown”, also one of her releases from the album. With more to come and already laid out, DAIbrieell is proudly seen as a rising star with notoriety in the United States and also in Algeria.
