A seven-year vet in the music industry, Chicago born rapper Yelo Boi describes himself as a rare talent and is determined to touch people with his music through telling his story. Yelo Boi began taking music seriously at the age of 19 and haven’t stopped since. He’s worked with producers such as Young Chop, Sony Digital, ChopSquad DJ, Chris Barnett, DJ L and more. If his name sounds familiar, it’s because you’ve probably seen or heard him on iHeartRadio, 92.3 Vibe, SayCheeseTV among other popular platforms.

In addition to making music, Yelo Boi is also a pioneer in his community and finds several ways to give back. To date, he’s contributed to Back-to-School events and also with feeding families during the holidays. When asked why giving back is important to him, he replied, “Because we all came from nothing and wished someone would do it for us. You should always help the less fortunate if you can”.

Inspired by industry greats such as Lil Wayne, Young Jeezy, Gucci Mane and Drake, he’s motivated to keep pushing and have his name listed amongst the greats within the next five years if not sooner.
