Twenty-three-year-old rapper, Money Mitch will be missed. The Florida lyricist was found dead back on July 23rd after police describe was due to a self-inflicted wound. According to reports, Mitch was riding in an Uber in West Palm Beach of Florida when the vehicle was stopped due to a traffic violation. Authorities say Mitch opened fire after jumping out of the vehicle, causing police to return fire. Police also add that Mitch did not suffer any injuries during the shootout with the cops and was able to flee the crime scene.
Authorities say that they located blood a block away before finding the rapper with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Frank Demario of the South Beach Sheriff’s office further explained that Mitch did not get wounded at the hands of Palm Beach Police. “We followed him to a building and on the second floor, we noticed some blood droppings on the first floor. We thought he was wounded,” Demario stated. “We didn’t have any involvement in the shooting.”
Following the news of Mitch’s death, the two officers involved were placed on administrative leave. No one else was harmed at the scene of the shoot-out.
Following his death, Lil Baby spoke out as it was revealed that Mitch was looking forward to singing with the Atlanta superstar. “Bra I’m sorry I couldn’t save you,” Lil Baby penned. “Dam Mitch you was on me everyday.”
