Reporter Karyn Greer said that Kanye West is paying $1 million per day to live in the Mercedes-Benz Stadium to complete his Donda album.
“Sources tell me @kanyewest is paying a million a day to stay in a locker room at @MBStadium What do you think???” she tweeted.
Fans were anticipating the release of Donda last week Friday, but in true Ye fashion, the album was delayed yet again even after he hosted a legendary listening event.
Reports suggest that Kanye moved into the Mercedes-Benz Stadium because he was inspired by the crowd at the listening event. So him and his crew set up a studio space, accommodations, and have a private chef taking care of all their meals.
Kanye shared a picture of his room and he’s presumably sleeping inside of the locker room.
He announced the second Donda listening event is on the way. “Second Listening Party For Kanye West – Donda at The Mercedes-Benz Stadium August 5th/6th 8PM #DONDA“
His previous listening party there broke Apple Music’s global live stream records, with over 3.3 million viewers watching live.
