It has been confirmed that the Hip Hop community has organized a grand homegoing service for Marcel “Biz Markie” Hall, which is set for Monday in New York City.
Thousands are expected to come to pay their respects to the Biz, who passed away last week after a long-fought, acute illness at age 57. Reverend Al Sharpton will deliver Biz Mark’s eulogy while artists like Fat Joe, LL Cool J, Papoose, Big Daddy Kane, Al B. Sure! have confirmed their attendance.
It has also been reported that Biz will be buried in an exclusive Dapper Dan suit, which Biz helped popularize during the late 80s.
There’s a private family viewing set for Monday from 11 AM to 1 PM ET and the funeral service is scheduled to begin at 1:30 PM and run until 3:30 PM. TMZ and BET will be live streaming the celebration of life starting at 2 PM.
