Simone Biles shocked the world when she pulled out of the Tokyo Olympics to protect her mental health. Many applauded the courageous act of the American gymnast while others were disappointed in the decision.
Since Biles’ decision, many have commented openly on her decision, including comedian Michael Che who wanted to post a few jokes about the decorated gymnast. “Man, I wanna make fun of Simone Biles. I got like 3 mins of Simone Biles jokes in my head. I’m going to the Cellar tonight to say them into a microphone. As the dorky kids say, I’m choosing violence,” Che wrote on his Instagram.
Che didn’t stop there, the comedian then screenshotted and posted some jokes about Biles from a few of his fans in the DM. Larry Nassar understands Simone Biles better than anyone. He too had to quit doing what he loved at the pinnacle of his career because of mounting pressure,” the fan wrote. “That’s rough. Absolutely tasteless. 9/10,” Che responded to the joke.
“Ok so I am shivering while typing this… but you are encouraging me,” another fan wrote in his DM before revealing their joke. “Who said black don’t crack?”
“Now thats a good joke. economical. referential. balanced. good job. 8/10,” Che responded to the fan.
Many were highly upset following Che’s activity and when the seat got hot Che said that his Instagram was hacked. “Maaannnn, I got hacked today. Can’t believe they got me. Y’all know I only do jokes about whites and cops. s’all good now, I changed my password and everything… Anyway, y’all hear about DaBaby tho? That’s crazy. Iight. See y’all in church. Imma get there early.”
