Ari Lennox surprise for her fans at her most recent concert in Brooklyn.
The Dreamville first lady took the stage Saturday at the 2021 BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! Festival. Ari Lennox returns to NYC after performing in Dyckman, NY back in June. With an angelic and authentic voice, Ari graced the stage to perform tracks from her Gold-certified album, Shea Butter Baby. To the fans surprised, she brought out Dreamville founder, J. Cole to perform the title track to her 2019 album.
Of course fans went crazy after Cole’s impromptu appearance.
Back in July, the songstress took to o Twitter to reveal she may not release any more music.
“I’m content with my discography. Wether top 40 or not. Don’t care. My heart and Soul is in every single joint that’s out. Even my SoundCloud joints,” she wrote on Twitter. “So until it feels right there simply won’t be no date on another project. So living my life is what I’ll continue doing.”
Air Lennox is a gem in the R&B space and it would be a travesty to never hear new music from her again, but her mental health is a priority.
Until then we will enjoy her live performances.
