On Friday, July 30, the Philadelphia artist dropped her debut EP, TBH. The project features fellow Philly native, Poundside Pop as well as Symba and Guapdad 4000.

In her most recent single release, “GAF,” Bri serenades above Kanye West’s “Devil In A New Dress” sample. The song denotes her desire for her love interest’s presence, despite their concluded relationship history.

She resents her feelings for him in the chorus, by repeating, “I wish I didn’t give a f*ck about you.” While she levels up in several aspects of life, her attempt to move on is only an allusion. In the end, she still cares, hence the chorus and song title.

Both Bri Steves and Guapdad shine on both the track and visual. It is safe to say that there was no expense spared when it came to body oil, but it helps to accentuate the displayed passion of both artists.

TBH is only an introduction to Steves’ artistry, where her ability to rap and sing is omnipresent.

On tracks such as her debut single, “Jealousy,” she sings the Jon B “They Don’t Know” sampled hook, while also delivering bars to compliment her sound.

Bri Steves’ 9-track debut EP can be streamed on all platforms.
