A win for the culture of Hip Hop didn’t minimize the victory The LOX took from Dipset at Madison Square Garden last night in front of a capacity crowd in NYC’s Madison Square Garden. The man of the hour was Jadakiss, who claimed he wanted to stay home and watch The Honeymooners, but just threw on his boots, grabbed some bread and came out to claim victory.

Jada closed out the landslide victory with a 2010 freestyle for DJ Green Lantern over Biggie’s “Who Shot Ya” instrumental.

Jadakiss also became the first rapper to win two Verzuz battles, which also made many in attendance and on social media to give Al Qaeda Jada his MVP status at the end of the festivities.

Last night showed what artist development and years of performing together can bring. Both New York rap groups brought their best efforts.

However, it was clear that Jadakiss, Sheek Louch and Styles P of The LOX, came war ready. While Dipset members Camron, Jim Jones and Jules Santana had their list of hits and mega anthems, it was hard to compete with the Yonkers trio.
