Continuing to innovate with Nike Air Technology, the brand has announced the Nike Air Max 2021.
The new sneaker is designed in the constant pursuit of progress, pushing the limits of performance and designing with an inclusive mind, and innovating with sustainability in mind. The Nike Air Max 2021 incorporates reductive design principles, removing elements to highlight the silhouette’s most vital component — a new Nike Air unit. The new amorphous Nike Air unit is nestled within a new collapsible TPU heel clip that allows the wearer to experience more of the benefits of Air technology — cushioning and energy return.
The Nike Air Max 2021 has a lower PSI in the center of the air unit creates a softer underfoot feel, while the outer ring of the air unit features a higher PSI to provide a stable ride. The Nike Air Max 2021 is made with at least 20% recycled content by weight: Vamp – 36% recycled polyester, Overlay and eyestay – synthetic letter with 28% recycled polyester, Strobel – 80% recycled polyester, Nike Air unit – 74% recycled TPU, Outsole – 13% recycled Nike Grind.
