Last month, Normani released her new single, a sizzling offering featuring Cardi B titled “Wild Side.”
Previously, Normani spoke about creating the song during her mother’s battle with breast cancer, but in a visit to Audacy’s The Morning Mess, Normani stated it was empowering working with a pregnant Cardi B.
“I’m such a girl’s girl and I’m always about female empowerment and it just made me feel empowered, like, she looked hot as hell… we can really do it all and I just always am like, ‘we’re so powerful!'” Normani said.
While the Cardi B collaboration is knocked out, Normani has her eyes on her next link up, citing working with Doja Cat as a dream. “I want to do something aggressive and, in your face, and fun, and something that we can dance to because she can really move.”
