Freaknik Partners With The Georgia State Health Department

Initially launched in 1983, Historically Black College and University students traveled in large numbers to partake in Freaknik. At its peak, it attracted a quarter of a million attendees. Two years back, it returned as a family-friendly all-day festival and concert.

The documentation of Freaknik is what has kept the spirit of the celebration alive. After9 Partners will be partnering up with the Georgia State Health Department to offer free Covid -19 testing and vaccination shots for the patrons of Freaknik. They will open the festival one hour early for everyone who has a negative Covid test, vaccine card, or whoever wants to be safe and party. The Festival Takes Pl., October 8th -10th at Morris Brown College. Tickets are on sale now for $10 a day when purchasing a foreplay group package. Doesn’t get any better than that!
