Born in Mesquite, Texas, Nathaniel Glen Miller Jr. was drawn to music since his days as a youth. Multifaceted and talented, he was widely known as the footballer that had a promising career ahead of him. That all changed on August 31st, 2019, when a bullet pierced his skull. Overcoming his near-death experience, he went back to basics, relearning motor skills through therapy. Music found greater purpose in his life as a means of encouragement and light through his dark time. Emerging rehabilitated, he adopted the alias C.h.a.m.p (Change Happens at My Pace) aka Baby Debo with new perspective and passion to chase his dreams as an artist.
Within the space of only 3 months, his talent shined through his EP’s “Paper Route” and “YOLO” which to date has surpassed 100,000 streams across streaming platforms. However, his accomplishments exceeded that accolade. C.h.a.m.p’s viral single “Baby Debo” has broken the 40,000 views mark within just one month of it’s release. His clever rhyme schemes and unique flow has made him a rapper with a fresh sound captivating the industry. Not sleeping on his potential, C.h.a.m.p expanded his resume as the CEO of IER Entertainment.
While fans are still soaking up his EP’s, C.h.a.m.p has been teasing a November release of his album, “Therapy,” set to open fans to his world and experiences that makes him the greatest artist in the making.
