Antonio Velaz is best known as an American Record Executive. He has appeared on Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood as well as several other reality tv shows and has been featured on The Shade Room. He has also gained popularity from his past work as a celebrity executive coordinator for high-profile personalities such as Tiffany Pollard, and Blac Chyna. His first breakthrough into music came as a Project Manager for Grammy Award-winning R&B singer Mya’s independent album titled Smoove Jones, which was Grammy nominated in 2017. Antonio Velaz has managed to do it again as he got his son/artist Lil XXEL, a six-figure music deal.
Antonio Velaz hails from a small town called Weehawken in Northern New Jersey. The son of Puerto Rican parents, he is the youngest of three; he has two sisters.
The entertainment industry is not an easy industry to break into and neither has his journey. You learn quickly that you will be met with a lot of challenges, and you must take the good with the bad. However, Antonio has managed to surpass all of these and continues to ascend to newer heights. His journey in the industry began a little over thirteen years ago. What started off as admiration for Fatty Koo, a group signed to Sony Urban/Columbia Records would turn into ventures and experiences that would lead him to work with some well-known personalities such as – Tiffany “New York” Pollard, Blac Chyna and Grammy Award-Winning R&B singer Mya in which he served as Project Manager on her Grammy nominated independent album titled Smoove Jones. He has graced us with tv appearances on Love & Hip-Hop Hollywood, Botched, David Tuttera’s CELEBration (Lil Kim’s Baby Shower) and TV One – Life After.
Antonio’s other talent is his knack for finding talent and turning them into a star. His latest success story has been his own son, and recording artist, Lil XXEL. With this many accolades under his belt, his creativity and specialty in artist development, branding and business savviness, he has now launched his own multimedia company called XXELULOUS Music Group (“XMG”) in partnership with Grammy nominated music producer- Baby Paul “BPZY” Hendricks. XMG will encompass business management, artist branding, and development. It will offer today’s talent ventures in all forms of media. Most recently, XMG has been developing and collaborating with legendary artists like Trina from Miami, AZ from Brooklyn, Monie Love from London and many more. NEXT-UP is Poncho Biggs from Chi Town who has a hot new single titled “Back Into It feat Baha Bank” out now on all platforms. “Back Into It” is Antonio’s first produced record and as he stated on his social media “There is more to come” stay tuned.
